In which I get to sleep in

Yesterday was one of those
*I'm clocking out and never coming back*
days.
Motherhood is tough sometimes.
Good thing there is a night at the end of each day.
Sleep to help recharge.
And an amazing husband.
The husband.
I love him.

He got oldest daughter up this morning and helped her get ready for school.
Complete with ponytail.

All while I slumbered peacefully in my comfy blankets.

He fixed breakfast for middle daughter and little son.
And helped them get situated with a little show.

And I still slumbered.

He showered and shaved.

And then I woke up at 8:45 to find two happy children waiting for me.

And then he went to work.
I took a deep breath, punched my time card, and got started with my day.

Thank goodness for that husband.

I love him.

You're so lucky...that almost never happens here, since Steve is out the door before sunrise. What a good hubby you have.

You should definitely keep him. Hope the rest of your day was as great!

awe! that is great! especially after having a hard day, and 'the husband' recognizing that you needed a little break and seeing to it that you got one. what a good husband.

I have that husband, too. Wait...are you his other family? Is this why YOUR husband and MY husband have never been seen in the same place at the same time? Oh my gosh, now I have to start stalking him...again!

Hang on...just noticed your husband has a hairline that starts within 7 inches of his eyebrows. Not the same guy. WHEW!

I wish I could take full credit, but I admit I was prompted.

Sorry ladies. Yes, I am taken.

Dear, the title was an obvious draw from A A Milne's Winnie the Pooh. I have to ask: Why? Did you just like how it sounded? Or was it because of my name or another reason? Maybe it is because you are so well-read...

I must know these things.

I don't think I could do it sometimes without my husband. Good husbands are worth millions.

It makes me feel better to know that I'm not the only one to have that feeling. I'm glad you got a much deserved break before clocking back in!

Ohhhhh, that just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside...especially now when I'm up half of the night. Ephraim got up this morning and did the same thing. I love those husbands, too.

Yay for thoughtful husbands! That's my favorite thing about the weekends. . . my husband gets up with Kirsten and lets me sleep in. It's blissful!
