Ahem.
The husband and I have not yet purchased a Blu-ray Disc player. But I know it is inevitable that we will. And then, what's next?
Would it be ok if we (I'm talking to you- YOU- here) all boycotted whatever comes after Blu-ray? Pretty Please? Because our movie collection is pretty substantial. And I don't want to start over. I mean, if this were a race, I'm all about finishing a race, so I would totally start over. But this is no race. And, again, I don't want to start over.
Hey, Inventors: can we not invent anything after the Blu-ray? Cause, really, it's not a race.
Thank you.
And if the husband were in on writing this, he would either say "sure love and appreciate ya" or "may the force be with you." (the force, because we're talking about movies here)

We bought a Blu Ray player for Christmas last year because our DVD player had finally played it's last. We don't even have a hi-def flat screen, just the same old tv we've had for like 10 years. My dad thought we were crazy, but I didn't want to have to buy something new when DVD's weren't available anymore. This particular one plays DVD's and Blu-Ray. Then, just to be awesome, the kids went to DI and bought me a VCR for Christmas. Ours broke years ago and some of my favorite movies were only on video- in our collection at least. So, we had both ends of the spectrum under the tree!
Anyway, I agree with you about the race. I haven't even learned to program the new player or figured out all the buttons on the remote and there's probably already a newer and better model out there somewhere. Get your new player and we'll visit each other and watch old DVD's until they won't play any more.
I'm happy to jump on this bandwagon. Where do I sign?
