winner

Two words: Vision Board. Or is that one word: visionboard? How ever many words it is, all I have to say is that they work. And we all should have them. And I have known this ever since I learned about vision boards on a certain reality program. Although the individual advocating the boards wasn't successful in attaining the thing that she was desiring through her vision board.

How do I know they work, you ask? Well, I just know because in my head I was always thinking about making a vision board to win a certain giveaway hosted by Mormon Mommy Blogs. But I never actually got around to constructing that vision board.

At MMB they were giving away a bunch of cool stuff. But I was really wanting just one of those things. And I won it. And I personally believe I won because I was thinking about creating a Vision Board. And it would have been the mother of all vision boards.

So now here's the deal: I am going to post this cute pic of little son with the prize. And you will probably smile. Because you are human.

Cute Jaime over at The Dress-Up Drawer was the creator of this cuteness. (the cape, not little son- the husband and I are creators of that cuteness.) You need to hop on over to her site and peruse the cute stuff she makes. And she is fast. And so cool. Thank you, Jaime!

And you might remember that my camera was broken? Well it still is. So I broke out our old digital camera, dusted it off, charged up the battery and snapped a few pics. I could not post this without pics. Because, well, could you? (post about all this cuteness without an equally cute pic.) Didn't think so.

And you may also notice that little son is alive. The yellow plastic things did not injure him. We are so glad!

You know, I watched the same episode about the vision board. I'm thinking I need to think about making one too. If that's all it takes...I could use the help!

PS. One story about the husband coming up. Actually, it's the only story I have. :) I just haven't decided how to get it to you...maybe I'll post it on my blog or something.

Every kid needs a GREAT cape and a vision board to go with it! Reach for the Stars little one..Reach for the Stars..

I don't know if I am pathetic or cool for knowing exactly which reality star influenced us all with her vision boards.

Ok, apparently I am not up on my reality tv/stars. I've never heard of a vision board. What is it? Hope yours is awesome, when you get it made. I'd love to see a picture.

I was just talking to a friend yesterday about how important a cape is to a preschooler. She was off to find a Batman cape. Yours is great. I love Nephi on there.

This reality show wouldn't happen to be The Bachelor, would it? When I saw what that chick had made, I was like, "It's called a collage!" I was *obsessed* with making collages as a teenager.

That said, I love collages, therefore, I love vision boards. The power of positive thinking has obviously worked this time. These capes are adorable. I'm quite jealous.
