Lotsa 'Postrophes (exclamation points, really, but 'postrophes goes better with 'lotsa')

You wanna know what that wonderful man of mine got me for my birthday?

A leaf blower-vac!

I know.

Best. Husband. Ever.

Ever!

And I'm serious about that. He had plans to get me something really nice. Like, really nice. I had to put the kibosh on that, cause all I really wanted was a leaf blower.

A leaf blower!!

And I got it. Plus a vac!!

BONUS!!!

Again, I know.

Totally! Spoiled! Rotten!

Rotten!!!!

Now, if you haven't entered yesterday's giveaway----- what are you doing lingering here? Get your little cutie booty on down to yesterday's post and enter your cute little self! So you can win the elf!!

And, thank you to all those who have served this country to protect our freedoms. I could get you a leaf blower-vac, but somehow that just doesn't seem like a sufficient thank-you gift. Plus, I'd have to get a lot of those blower-vacs, and I'm not made of money, yo.

post-edit:
the husband brought it to my attention that this post has a sarcastic tone. oops. in all sincerity- i wanted a leaf blower. really. and i am thrilled he listened and got me one. and i love him.

Just to go on record, her words are not sarcasm. Totally true. She begged for a leaf-blower for her birthday.

I was about to push the "buy" button on a very girly present that she's wanted for a long time, and she pleaded with me to buy the blower for her over the top five things on my "buy for my wife" list (camera phones are great for creating lists when we are shopping and she says ooooh, i totally want that someday when we have extra money).

Who would have known? A leaf-blower!

I love practical gifts like that too! A couple years ago I got a new vacuum for my birthday. I loved it!

And I too, am very grateful to those who serve and have served to protect our country. It is truly humbling to think of the lives lost each day to keep our country safe.

This is how you know you are officially an 'adult'- when housewares and tools are more exciting than diamonds and jewels!

I soo understand. That is all I wanted for mother's day really and truly. Just to cover his bases my husband also got me flowers, candy and ear rings. But I can not tell you how much I LOVE my blower, and every time I use it I think of how sweet he was.

I didn't think it sounded like sarcasm at all. I really wanted a drill for Christmas one year. The in-laws thought I was kidding, but got it anyway. I still smile whenever I use it. Enjoy the blower!

You can tell the hubs that the sincereity of your excitement shone through any sarcastic tone! I know how cool it is to get just exactly the odd not-really-birthday-gift-material thing you wanted. That rocks.
