My Dad Could Beat Up Your Dad

When the husband and I were first married, we began a Book of Mormon collection. Over the years, we have added some pretty rare copies to our collection and we are continually hunting for more.
*
For a long time, our collection was housed in cardboard boxes, waiting for us to construct a cabinet worthy of such a collection. And we didn't get around to it for a long time. One day when I was at JoAnn (remember this post all about JoAnn?) I found a cabinet for $60- it was in their unfinished wood section.
*
When I got it home, the husband assembled it and our lovely collection was comfy in it for 4 years, but we were always talking about how we needed to finish it. And so, when we moved, and the books were once again packed up snug in boxes, we decided it was the perfect time to finish it. And we asked my dad if we could come into his cabinet shop and work on it. And he said to bring it by anytime and he would finish it for us.
*
And so, one day when my dad was visiting, we loaded it up in his new red truck and he took it to his shop.
*
Two days later he called to let us know he would be at our house in 20 minutes. With the cabinet. All finished.
*
We were stoked. Couldn't wait to see what he had done with it. And when he arrived, we unloaded the cabinet and he reassembled it. Right there. In our brand new living room.
*
As he was working his magic, he commented on my blog. And told me, with a wink, he was tired of reading posts about the husband's cute tush. Great feedback.
*
And reading between the lines, I knew my dad needed a post about his own cute little tush. He has one. And he also has some great skills.
*
When I was in college and home on summer breaks, I worked with my dad at his cabinet shop. He taught me all about hard work and wood and sanding and going with the grain and not tilting the sander and staining and whitewashing and caulking and not stripping out screws and doing a job well the first time. And these are skills that I have used in my own home as we have built dressers and armoires and shutters and tables and window casings.
*
And my dad taught me all about living the gospel and being devoted to what I profess to be and loving my family and developing a testimony and serving the Lord and what to look for in a husband and how a man should treat his wife. And laughter. Lots and lots of laughter.
*
I love my dad. He is strong and sensitive. Wise and funny. Generous and brave. And I think he could beat up your dad, but he won't- because he's not a fighter.
*
Secretly I think that no matter how much he complains about my posts about the husband's delicious buns, my mom would write a post about my dad's delicious buns. If she had a blog.
*
And my dad would love it.

God Bless Us, Everyone

God Bless the U.S. Postal Service. And God Bless Greg and Shannon.

Today my mail carrier (whom I don't know whether or not he is the hottest, or she- as the case may be) delivered an amber envelope of BYU blue and white goodness.

My friend Shannon sent this treasure to me, courtesy of her husband Greg, who happened to find it in the BYU bookstore- on clearance. It is a t-shirt. One that, I personally believe, was commissioned in honor of my username. (and possibly even my blog) (yes, I believe even my blog) (although I lost two followers over the past couple of days--- why didn't you stop in to say goodbye, ex-followers? we totally could have had a going away party for you. oh well, God Bless You.)

And I have resolved to don the shirt (at least mentally) each time I write a post. Because it will give me inspiration. And besides that, I can't wait to wear it!

Finally, God Bless BYU.
Although, I didn't have the heart to tell them that they spelled Tru Blu wrong. I guess BYU doesn't use spell check.
Thank you, Greg and Shannon! If there was a blog award dedicated to recognizing the stellar individuals who champion the username of other bloggers, I would definitely make sure it was awarded to the pair of you. That's what it's all about.

A Bad Case of PJR

There are few things I love better than a good practical joke. The husband is one of those few things that I do love better. I love him. A lot. And, I love a good practical joke, too. A lot. Live for them. At least, I used to live for those no-holds-barred, take-no-prisoners jokes.

When the husband and I were in the beginning years of our happily ever after, there was a couple that we were BFFs with. We like to call them the Kellys. Because that was their last name. So we called them that. Still do.

The Kellys lived a couple floors up from us at Wymount Terrace, also known as Utopia. Our phone numbers were virtually the same. People would often mistakenly call our apartment looking for the Kellys. And sometimes people would mistakenly call the Kellys' apartment looking for us. And sometimes, if the caller was lucky, we would hand the phone to the Kellys- because they could be found at our place. Sometimes. Or we could be found at theirs'.

The Kellys were our kind of folks. The kind that enjoyed a good practical joke. And we took a fancy to them. And we would often have practical joke showdowns. Really creative practical jokers were they. And it challenged us. In ways that we had never been challenged before. I believe they helped to mold us into the stellar individuals we are today.

There were some evenings the husband and I would lie awake hatching brilliant plans for practical joke supremacy. And we would go to sleep smiling. And the Kellys had no idea.

Sunday evening as the husband and I sat and chatted about the events of the day, I was inspired with a brilliant plan. Immediately I acted on that inspiration. And I was as giddy as a school girl. Because practical jokes make me giddy- especially a brilliant practical joke. And after the practical joke was completed, I felt like I had just reunited with a dear, long lost friend. And I loved getting reacquainted- like no time had passed between us. I smiled, and told the husband as much. And he chuckled. Because he thinks I am crazy sometimes.

I had just spent a few moments hacking into my cute little sister's blog and posting a funny little post.

She is 40 months pregnant with her first child- a tiny pink bundle that should just about be cooked to a beautiful golden brown perfection- which she has been anxiously awaiting. The nursery is ready- bedding bought and crib made. All ready for a little sugar and spice and everything nice.

Little sister has always dreamed of being a mother. She is a born mother- so natural with children. And she has always wanted a girl more than anything. She is thrilled to be having a girl, but has a little anxiety that she may have gotten the recipe wrong and this little one could turn out to be a boy. To make matters worse, a mystical Indian warrior customer at her bank told her to expect a son. To which she laughed, but couldn't completely discount the fortune teller. Worrying that he might be on to something.

Let me tell you the secret of a seasoned practical joker: he or she looks for opportunity in all things. Who could resist this perfect set-up? Not I.

So, I proceeded to post the following on my little sister's blog.

April Fool's?

So, this will be a short post just to let you know that someone played a cruel little April Fool's joke on us. Remember how I was pregnant? Did you catch that? I said "was". Well, we had a cute little baby boy today at 9:07 pm. Did you catch that? I said "baby boy". Remember how we were supposed to have a girl? Well, we got ourselves a beautiful little boy. And he is beautiful. But that is a silly little April Fool's Joke to play on a girl when she thought she was having a girl.

More details to follow... sooner than expected people, hello!

I had included a small clue at the bottom, so that if she read carefully, she would know who was responsible- because I have become a little soft in my old age. And then I folded up my laptop, satisfied with my latest deed and went to sleep with a smile on my face. And little sis had no idea. Not yet, at least.

In the morning I woke up. With a terrible case of Practical Joker's Remorse, more commonly known as PJR. Like I have never felt before. It was terrible.

I checked in on little sis's blog and started reading the comments. And I realized that my joke was lost on her readers who now believed the yarn that I had spun. And they were offering blue clothes and congratulations. This thing I had not considered. I was just hoping to freak out the sis and stir up the pot a little. Instead, her friends were believing her to be in the hospital with a little boy. (duh, why wouldn't they? Obviously I was a little rusty.)

Uh-oh. What to do? What to do? I immediately felt the need to atone for this poorly thought-out joke.

And so, I posted this:

here is a picture of our new bundle.

enjoy.

one question: what to do with that hair?

After posting this, I felt I had provided sufficient clues that the previous post was rubbish.

I then fielded a few calls from family members. And we may have swapped a few giggles. And then I took little son to his friend's house. Satisfied that I was on my way to a full recovery from PJR.

And now, I am off to bed. With a smile on my face.

Dream a Little Dream

I have blogged about my dreams before. I think it is time for another installment.

Thursday night as I was sleeping, I dreamed about someone I have met through blogging. So, really, I only know what I imagine to be her personality- Fun. With a little fun on the side.

When I woke up Friday morning I immediately sent her a message on facebook telling her about my dream. This is the message I sent to her: (doncha love how it sounds like i said it all in one breath?)

you were in my dream last night. weird, i know. this is what happened: i went over to your house to visit. and you were making something out of candy and then you took me to show me something in your laundry room and then you had this whole cupboard full of candy that your dad gave you. and then we were making a candy craft and you went to your other laundry room to get some glue. you had two laundry rooms! lucky!

and when i was leaving your garage door was only half-way shut, but you were able to pull your big suburban out of your garage without harming your garage door.
so, that is all.
hope you have a great day.

Just a couple hours later, I checked facebook and found this response (I'm sharing with her consent, of course):

OHHHHH MYYYYYY GOOOSH!!!!!!!!!that is hilarious!!!

you want to know what is so funny-- yet freaky-- about this??????

My DAD really did give me a whole lot of candy!!!! my great-aunt {his aunt} is going to a nursing home soon & he and his brothers were over there the other day cleaning out her pantry & her sewing room... and he gave me all of the sweets/ingredients/crafts/materials/ etc.....

and GUESS WHAT??????

we DO have 2 laundry rooms!!!!!!!!!!! one is used as a laundry room and the other is used as a PANTRY/SCRAPBOOKING/CRAFT ROOM!!!!!

and guess what else?????

well... i dont have a Surburban... but i do have a FORD EXPEDITION--its about as BIG as a Sururban!! and i am always scared to drive that thing in my garage because i am afraid it will get stuck because it is so tall and my garage door will not open all the way up to the top for some reason!!!

this is INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am like totally freaking out here!!!!!!

THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR DREAM WITH ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is that not a bit freaky? Like, if I were Merrianne, I would be way freaked out by me. Cause that is a lot of crazy stuff. But, truly, I am a nice person and I keep my stalking to the blogs. Except if you live near me, then I might consider stalking you in person. Kidding! JUST KIDDING!!!

***post edit: After I received this reply from Merrianne, I sent her another message asking if she had posted any of this stuff on her blog, and she said she hasn't. Whoa.

In the future it is possible I may pursue a career in the psychic arena. There may be something in there for me. I'm feeling it. And I'll probably cut you a little deal if you ever have need of my services. Like, *mention this post and you'll receive 50% your next reading.* I'll keep you posted. Because I'm sure you're looking for a good psychic. In the meantime, I'll be out shopping in the hopes of finding an appropriate wardrobe- because psychics usually dress really special.

However, if you ever do a craft, and if it involves candy, invite me over! I love crafts and candy AND, I'd love to see your two laundry rooms. Because, apparently, there are people out there with two laundry rooms.

have you used scentsy stuff? i love it. and my fave scent is *flirtatious*. i recommend a visit to her scentsy site, and then order something from trina.

last item,

this is a tradition that i loved and looked forward to growing up. on the morning of every day of the last week of school, my mom would hide a number for each of us kids to find. and then, when we got home from school that day, we would have a surprise waiting for us: candy or some special treat. it was magical.

monday begins our last week of school- and the children can't wait. so, since there are only four more days of school after today (thursday is the last day), monday morning i will hide #4s for my kiddos to find. and then when oldest daughter gets home, they can claim their prize. it's magic. magic, i tell you.

happy friday to you all!

The Bomb

So there are a few blogs out there that I really love. Like, Really. Love. Ones that if I ever received a comment from them on my little space I would feel like I had arrived.

Those are the blogs that I get excited when I see that they have posted something.

And I read those blogs, but never comment. Because it is like they are at the cool table and I am not. And entering their domain is intimidating to me. And I will tell you why. It is my belief that once I comment on their blog, they will be like: "Who is this trublubyu? And why is she at my table? Who invited her? I must check her profile."

And I flatter myself to believe that they will immediately click on my profile and then follow the link to my blog to see if I am worthy. And if my post for that day is not the bomb (do the people at the cool table still use that phrase?), then my one chance at sitting at the cool table will be gone. Forever. Like families or diamonds. (they are forever)

So, I wait until the day that I have a post that is the bomb. And when that day comes, I am going to make my way over to that cool table and leave comments all over it in hopes that those cool table peeps will follow my link and love what I have to say and tell me in an awesome comment. And truly, it's not about the comment- it's that an amazing writer took a moment to click on over to my place and read my meager offering.

And then I will know...

That I am still the same person I was yesterday. But now I have an extra comment.

Author's note: to all the friends I have made through blogging, this is not to say that I do not admire your blogs- we have established a connection and I love it! Thanks for inviting me to your cool table. I am still in awe of having a place there.

Daily Classified

I used to have someone read this little blog who considered herself to be my biggest fan. Her own words. Not mine. And not that I minded at all. I found it very flattering. But I believe she no longer reads my blog. Which is kinda sad. To me. Probably not you. But, you know, it goes along with the whole losing a follower thing. It's emotional for me. I won't go into it. You're welcome.

So, I guess what I am getting at is that I am looking for a new Biggest Fan (BF). Everyone needs one. Do you have one? You should get one. They make you feel good. Unless they leave you.

I will rise above it. This is what I am going to do. I am going to give her a few days to declare herself. If I do not hear from her, I will open the position to whomever might possibly be interested. Fair, right?

And then, assuming she has fallen off the face of the earth, you may be awarded the position. No resume needed. Just a few rules:

  1. You must declare that you would like to assume this position if original BF cannot be located.
  2. A BF would logically be a follower, so accordingly, you should click on my followers gadget to let me know you are serious.
  3. Once you have become a follower, you should never stop following me. Because why would you if you are the official BF of this blog? Besides, when I lose a follower, it hurts.
  4. Maybe it might be nice if you link your blog to mine. And in the event that you have no blog, I can hook you up with a friend of mine who does vinyl lettering and I am pretty sure she could whip up something for you to stick on the back window of your car- like my blog address. And you could even do this if you have a blog. I'm pretty sure that's what official BFs do.
  5. I will be sure to link to your blog on my sidebar. Wouldn't it be cool if I could come up with a button? And, again, in the event that you do not have a blog, I will get some vinyl art of you. Like a stick figure family of you and yours or something similar to stick on the back of my car. Again, if you do have a blog, we could probably work something out here, too.
  6. You should probably work my blog into any conversation you have so that people would know you are the official biggest fan. We can work on conversational transitions, self-promotions and catch-phrases later. I have a few all ready to go. They come in handy in a pinch.
  7. Comment on each and every post- so everyone will know that you are fulfilling your duties. And they can get to know the Biggest Fan.

I believe this just about covers it. However, I reserve the right to come up with any additional rules I deem appropriate. Because it is possible I may have missed something. Afterall, I'm pretty new at having to find a new Official Biggest Fan.

Current Biggest Fan: you have approximately three days to chime in. I hope you are still out there. And I hope you are ok.

Three days starts now...

just a quick note...

Dear Blog,

I have been avoiding you. I have nothing to say. Except maybe that I have a lot to do today. I think you can relate. You usually have a lot going on. I know you have a few visitors each day and you have to be a gracious host. I think you do a pretty great job. Wouldn't it be nice to have freshly baked cookies and milk everytime you have someone stop by? I know.

Anyway, Blog, you have been good to me. You listen to me. Without judgment. And I appreciate that. Especially when I start every other sentence with that little "and" word. Does it bug ya? I hope not. It's just who I am.

I'll let you in on a little secret. Not only do I start most sentences with "and", I really have to exercise discipline in not starting every post with "And so...". It's tough. And I know you understand. I just think "And so..." is such a great introduction. And when I start something with "And so..." it feels like I'm just picking up on our conversation where we left off.

I'll let you in on another secret. You know how we have the canine? I don't think I have ever told you her name. It's Sparkle. Isn't that an appropriate name for a puppy of little girls? I feel pretty secure in telling you her name. Whereas, with my children, it makes me nervous to put their names out there for all of creation to know what to call my children when they want to steal them away from me. Kinda paranoid? Yeah, maybe. But, I'm fond of the children and I'd like to keep them. Like forever.

And so, I'm off to do a little visiting teaching. And take back some library books that we never got around to reading. And take oldest daughter to piano lessons. And to work on my lesson for Sunday. And clean the pit of despair that is my house at this moment (I believe it is the most-neglected thing that lives here). Plus a bunch of other stuff. Like I said, I have a lot to do today.

Thanks for listening. Oldest daughter is learning the etiquette of letter writing. She has taught me all about it. And so, now I know how to end this letter. I have to say "Yours truly,". I think that's just what I'll say, because truly, I am yours. (and the husband's)

Yours truly,
Stephanie

PS- do you know what made me smile on little son's birthday? He said to me, "Mom, I am the three-est boy in the whole world!" Man, I love that kid.

On My Mind

So, I have been wondering about a few things for a long time. I decided I'm going to just put it out there to you guys. Because I know you have an opinion. And a good one at that. My sister informs me that she enjoys reading all the comments you make- sometimes even more than the original post. I have to agree with her. I have some great readers and I love that you play along with the insanity on this blog and I love reading what you have to say. And so, here we go with our first town meeting. It's gonna be a good one. I can feel it.

How do you handle comments on your blog?
Do you answer people's comments right back in the comment section?
Do you send them a personal emailed response?
Do you answer them silently, like in your head?
And then:
Do you check back in comment sections when you have posed a question in response to a person's blog post?
Or, if you like the particularly witty comment you have left on someone's blog, do you hope they have a retort that they shoot right back in the comment section?
So, do you come back and check other people's comments to see what kind of thread is going?
And finally:
What would you like me to do?
Because I really want to respond to comments, but I'm unsure if people check back to see if there is a comment on their comment.
Tell it to me straight, people.
What would you like to see on this here blog?
Because whatever you ask for, I can provide. (in regards to comments, k?)
And please chime in- that's what town meetings are all aboutl. I know you know that. I'm just rambling at this point. And I can't stop. But I will.
You're welcome.

JACKPOT!!

i always knew that posting ads was going to be WAY lucrative. no one could have talked me out of it. and i am so glad i put ads on my sidebar.

on tuesday i became curious about that ad thing and felt it was time to visit the site and see what my account balance might be. i really wasn't expecting much. but, i was really surprised when i pulled up my account and there was that beautiful balance- staring me straight in the eyes. i have been advertising for almost 4 months now and i have amassed a grand total of $0.03! that is three cents! i wish there was a cents sign on the keyboard, because that would look really cool. anyway, $0.03. if you can even believe that!

i don't want this new-found wealth to go to my head. i always hear stories of people who suddenly fall into unexpected money who totally forget their roots and the money changes them. and i mean changes them. i am not going to be that person. i want my friends to know that i am still the same person i was on monday- before i knew the balance. but i also want my family to know that i'm trying to figure out how to share the wealth.

i'm also wondering what i should spend it on. any ideas?

With Sympathy

My sincerest condolences go out to Mary who lost her blog this past weekend.

Mary,

I am deeply saddened by the news of the passing of your blog. I couldn't have been more shocked when I read your post of its demise. I have not yet read the obituary, but I am sure it will soon follow and I can't wait to read it and remember all that was wonderful about your little blog. It touched many hearts, gave cause for much LOL and provided us with much needed moments of escape from the every day. It had a way with words and will be sorely missed in the blogging community. However, out of tragedy great things are born and I know that you will carry on and find your way again.

Your little glob touched and no doubt changed many lives. Including mine. I am a better person because of your blog. Have you set up a donation fund? Are you doing a benefit concert? How can we as a blogging community help?

I have never been faced with such a tragedy, but can only imagine the emotions you have been experiencing. Because as we all know, there are five stages of grieving: The denial. The anger. The bargaining. The depression. And, finally, the acceptance. According to the experts you must go through all stages or your healing will never be complete. And if it is not complete, there will be no healing.

You will heal. If you are still feeling the pain, that is a good thing. It proves you are alive, human (which many of us wondered about since you have super-human humor).

Just don't put off living- there is so much for you to still accomplish. Reach for the stars, Mary!

With sympathy,
The Little Wedgie Blog

Letters from the Blog

I went to edit a previous post today and found this in the "scheduled to post" bin. Although I am a little reluctant to share, I thought I might as well. What's pride anyway? I think someone's trying to tell me something. What do you think?

Dear Lady (I think your name is Steph, but you try to keep everything so anonymous that I can't be 100% sure)-

So, um, were you planning on writing something interesting anytime soon? You know, my name is on this blog and I'm starting to get a little embarrassed. I'm just gonna put it out there. You have been pretty boring lately. I mean, B- double O- double R- double I- double N- double G G G. If things don't change- and I mean PDQ- I gotta distance myself from you. I'm talking break up.

I walk around the block, talk with my friends and I see what their people are posting on their blogs and you and just can't compete with all the awesome blogs and bloggers out there. I think you need to kinda figure out what you're going for. Do you want to be funny? Pull at people's heartstrings? Give a run-down of the day? Play sports fan? What?

And don't even get me started on the all the little teases you have a habit of including in your posts such as "I'll have to write about that later" or "I'll post about that frame at another time". Blah, Blah, Blah. I wait for the post and it never comes. I just don't know when to believe you anymore.

You need to know that I love ya- I'm rootin' for ya. But if things don't change- and I mean soon- I just don't know what will happen to us. Do we have a future? I don't know.

I'm willing to let you have a little time to consider your feelings- I'll give you a little space. I want to see if we can work it out, because in the beginning we had a really good thing going. When you are ready- talk to me. I'm here.

Love,

Moi- your little ol' blog

Come, Swap Howdies

I love reading people's words written from the depths of their souls typed onto the pages of the Internet. I love the wit, the warmth, the wisdom, the wonder that is another's life. I love to catch a glimpse of what their everyday may or may not be. I am inspired when I come across blogs of human beings caught between mortality and eternity. And yet, at times, I feel like I am intruding on moments too personal for me, a stranger, to even be reading.

I find myself wanting to sit with them. Learn more about them. Connect in a way that may be only possible through a blog. Most times I read their thoughts and move on. Sometimes I visit their comment page. And even less often, I leave a comment- I am especially hesitant if I don't know the person. (I tend to comment on the blogs of those I know, or the blogs of those who comment on my little blog.) This is ironic, because I would love to hear from those who visit my little neck of the Internet woods, yet I feel shy to "swap howdies" with all the bloggers I stalk, especially if they have a long list of comments because I feel like my meager offering is swallowed up in the ocean of words.

Here is my problem: I just don't know what to say when I comment. Sometimes it is obvious how I should respond, but other times I am at a loss. Mostly I am just a lame commenter. I just can't find my humor or wisdom when I need it, so instead of sounding ridiculous and un-witty, I pass on the comment page. Oh, the pressure. Pathetic, I know. Honest? Yes. And then sometimes, I wonder if they would really even want to hear from me. Hello? That makes no sense to me because of my own personal feelings on desiring to hear from others when they are in my wedgie neighborhood.

I will find a way to reconcile all of this. And when I do, you bet I will write about it. In the meantime, I am wondering this: what are your expectations or hopes regarding comments and commenters? Do comments matter to you? And what compels you to comment or not? Please don't keep your comments to yourselves, because I know there are a few of you who are reading right now who have never joined in the discussion. Come on, comment- you don't even have to raise your hand first. We're pretty laid-back around here.

What Are You Wearing?

Over a year ago my younger sister told me about a shirt her sister-in-law has that says "Nobody Cares About Your Blog!" At the time we laughed and made merry, joked and mocked. Oh, and guffawed. (Because, don't most people guffaw? And I have always wanted to use that word.) That was then. Before I had a blog. Now, I just have to put that shirt out of my mind like, "la la la shirt, I can't hear your message."

It's true. Probably nobody cares about my blog. But I do. So if I had a shirt, it would say "One Person Cares About Your Blog". Wait, I do have ONE fan (you know who you are), so maybe it could be edited to say "Two People Care..." No matter. I write so that I have an outlet. And outlets are good. Aren't they? I have to believe they are.

This shirt is a prime example of how we really can't appreciate something until we are faced with it. If you have never have had chocolate, you just can't get it. So, I say that I am glad I have experienced blogging so that I can appreciate all those under-appreciated blogs out there. To all bloggers I say:

I Care About Your Blog!
(except if it is inappropriate, then I don't really care about it.)

Who Reads These Things?

Here I am blogging world! I know, sorry, another one to add to your blog roll. Or not. But you really can. If you want. And another blog to cause a traffic jam on the information superhighway. BTW- when is rush hour? Anyway, the husband called it- he always said I would get into blogging and really enjoy it. Do, I stroke his ego and admit he was right? K, I will. Swallow. My. Pride. The husband, you were so right.

I will say that I am going to be an honest blogger. That is one of my peeves about blogs: all the sugar-coated sweetness out there. (especially in the LDS world) How many perfect homes, children, and people really exist? Not as many as are portrayed on the blogscene, I would venture to guess. This really is one thing that has kept me from blogging. I have a fear that my neighbors will actually find my blog (out of the billion out there) and realize I am complaining about their dog that barks at all hours, or their kids who cut across my yard on the way home from school and scatter my rocks all over the sidewalk (does it really matter?). It is possible they could find this one, right? Right. But I will be honest anyway. And vague.

K, enough. I am not a negative person, really. Really. I am just a stay-at-home mom who feels outnumbered by little people at times and who sometimes swims through piles of laundry just to make it through the loft. But, I love my life. Could I be any more blessed?

Anyway, welcome to Life's Little Wedgies. I promise, if you comment, we can help each other figure out how to pick those wedgies together and have a good laugh later. What could be more satisfying than that? Um, nothing.
